Examples of light modes used:

• Parallel Polarised Light
  Highlights the skin’s surface texture and structure by reflecting light off the outermost layers. It gives a clear picture of surface features while minimising visibility of deeper tissues, illustrating what is happening right at the surface of the skin.
  
  

• Cross Polarised Light
  Reveals what lies beneath the surface, such as vascular anomalies, inflammation, and pigmentation. These are elements that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
  
  

• Woods Light (UV Light)
